Adventures on Sentosa III- the threequel!

Greetings from Singapore! We have, as usual, sauntered into Sentosa for plenty of fun-filled delights. Sentosa is like an ice-cream parlor that sells entertainment- the only thing between you and fun is a small fee.

The first thing we did on Sentosa was pay a visit to Adventure Cove, a jam-packed water world where we brought out our inner shark. We took a dip in a (frigid) tank of saltwater, inside our own glass tank within the larger one, and peered out at the small town of sharks around us. We even received large suction cups to move around our homey enclosure.

This huge yet graceful shark sleeps at day and hunts when night falls.

Another shark ended up snuggling with the gentle giant. Aw!

Afterwards, Dad cooled down by visiting a watery jungle gym, helping a kid dump water on unsuspecting passerby, and then blaming it on the kid.

For our next scoop of adventure, we visited the Trick Eye museum, a hilarious museum filled to the brim with optical illusions.

The best part is, that "umbrella" that I'm holding is nothing more than paint on the wall.

The plate cover is also just paint!

Who needs "Dreamworks" when you have me?

Thanks for reading!

Singapore fact zone!

Welcome to the Singapore edition of "Hong Kong Facts"!

The name "Sentosa" fittingly means"peace and tranquility" in Malay. However it was once known as "Pulau Belakang Mati" or "island of death from behind", which is significantly less inviting, not to mention harder to pronounce.
