Lost in the Space Museum

Greetings, readers! I bring tidings of vaguely interesting adventures in the city area of Hong Kong!

We went to the movie theatre today (pictured below), so we decided to follow up with a trip to the Hong Kong Space Museum while we were out and about.

At the theater, we scored reclinable seats (controlled by remote controls like the one that I am holding here) and blankets.

The space museum was very crowded, but we managed to find some interesting attractions, like the gyroscope. The premise of the gyroscope is that one can tilt it and their control seat will move. When the supervisor of the attraction looked away, my dad kicked off and spun the seat around at high speed. It was a mistake to bring him.

The supervisor had to tell Dad more than once to get off and let some of the kids in line have a turn.

We hope to return some day, as we were enticed by a moonwalk simulation attraction. We may come back on some random Wednesday, when the wait for the moonwalk isn't forty-five minutes long.

On the way back, we had some time to kill, so we plunged into the chaotic depths of… (dramatic pause) the Gap!

I do not like crowds. I barely made it out of this store alive.

It was, in summary, a very crowded day. Thanks for reading.

Dad Sez!

Dad is traveling again, so let's hear it for Dad's profound insights on… line ninjas!

"Awesome 'refuse to queue' guy at gate. Came to the front of business class line 3 times and handed boarding pass to attendant - twice before boarding started and once after - all three times they directed him to the back of the line."

"His face said, 'But… But… I don't want to queue…'"
