Wild West of Kangaroo Island

I'm posting for yesterday again. We started out the day with a trip to Kelly Hill caves. They got that name because they were discovered when a horse named Kelly accidentally fell into them. The rider was fine, but the horse has never been seen to this day. It's no use trying to describe them- here are some pictures.

After Kelly Hill Caves, we went on two nature hikes. One was a path looking down on rocks littered with New Zealand fur seals. The other was a high coastal walk with views of the ocean and lots of wildlife.

Finally, we went to a place called Remarkable Rocks (they are able to be remarked about). So I will remark about them. They were, as advertised, quite remarkable, but mostly fun to climb on.

Wildlife Report:

Kangaroo

Two kangaroos

Kangaroo with CUTE LITTLE BABY!!!

Worryingly red ant

Burp Goose (not real name, but its honk sounds like a burp)

Many much New Zealand fur seals

Not photographed:

Unknown snake (probably deadly, because everything in Australia can kill you)

Even more sheep

  1. We would like to remark on your remarkable post. Our remark is one of scardness and cuteness. "Remarkable Toilets" We hope you left something remarkable there. Bryn and family.
